These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between SYV Travel (“we”, “us”, “our”) and our clients (“you”, “your”) when you use our services. By making a booking with SYV Travel, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
SYV Travel acts as a booking agent between you and third-party service providers such as airlines, accomodation stays, tour operators, and transport companies. We facilitate travel arrangements on your behalf but do not own, manage, or control these services.
2. Bookings & Payments
A booking is only confirmed once payment or a deposit has been received.
Full payment deadlines will be communicated at the time of booking. Failure to make payment on time may result in cancellation.
Prices quoted are subject to availability and may change until the booking is confirmed.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation policies vary depending on the third-party supplier (e.g., lodges, hotels). We will communicate these policies to you at the time of booking.
SYV Travel will assist with processing cancellations or changes but cannot guarantee refunds as these are subject to supplier terms.
Administrative fees may apply for cancellations or amendments.
4. Travel Documents & Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas, permits, health certificates, vaccinations, and insurance as required for your trip.
SYV Travel will provide guidance but cannot be held responsible for denied boarding, refused entry, or additional costs due to incomplete or invalid travel documents.
5. Liability
SYV Travel will not be liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, or additional expenses caused by third-party service providers, strikes, natural disasters, accidents, or events beyond our control.
Our liability is limited to the value of the services booked directly with SYV Travel.
6. Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and personal liability.
7. Changes to Itineraries
Suppliers may change schedules, routes, or services due to operational reasons. We will inform you as soon as possible, but SYV Travel is not responsible for changes made by third parties.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
